Love the size and styling, looks great in our airstream trailer. It boggles my mind though that it came with a bright white power cord which stands out in stark contrast to the sleek black cabinet.
The defrost function is inconvenient; the default time is 11:52 seconds. This can be adjusted down second by second but would have been much more user friendly to just enter a time and be done with it.

I've had this microwave for about two years. The glass turnable tray has broken.
To replace, with delivery thru Whirlpool or any other plave is----the glass turnable is $66 to replace. I'm outraged and disappointed :(

Bought this microwave solely because it fits in the corner. It is quite small and takes a long time to heat items. There is room for a slightly bigger oven in the corner of most counter tops so one with a little more room and wattage could be accommodated.

I have been using this microwave for about a month and I love it. It does everything my larger over- the- cooktop microwave did but on a smaller scale. It is wide enough for an 11" dish which is perfect for only 2 people. I was concerned about defrosting meats but it works faster than my older model. And it fits perfectly into the corner of my countertop.

I was so tired of having a countertop microwave that hogged the whole counter. This Whirlpool Microwave has an incredibly small footprint, yet it's extraordinary design allows me to fit a 10 1/4 inch plate in it to reheat a meal! Since it is 750 watts, I use an app to convert cooking times from the 1100 watt standard. Surprisingly, this microwave oven seems to heat food more evenly than my previous Sharp microwave, which was much larger and almost 50% more powerful. I credit this to the innovative design and uniquely shaped interior. If you must have "instant gratification", this is not the microwave for you. It does take longer to do the job, but I don't mind the extra time, when the end product is better. Kudos to Whirlpool engineers for thinking outside of the box!
My only "complaints" are:
1. The feet. Put rubber feet on it to keep it from sliding when you open the door. I bought rubber bumpers, and given the design of the "feet", jury-rigged a workable solution. Surely, proper non-slip feet could be designed and manufactured as a standard part of the product.
2. The cost. This is an expensive microwave for its size, probably due to the redesign cost and retooling cost to manufacture it. I would hope to see the price come down in the future.

I never thought I would be excited to purchase a microwave. This microwave is the perfect size and I love that it doesn't have 15 extra buttons that I never use. It does everything I need to it has a clock, it has a reheat and popcorn button that cooks the popcorn perfectly. The microwave fits a standard size plate and small cups. I would highly recommend this product!

Love the size and simple functions. This microwave is a space saver without giving up the power of a std. size. It doesn't overheat the food and you can reheat, heat in 30 sec. intervals and adjust the power level. Nice sleek design too - perfect for an apartment with minimal space or as a second microwave.

I wanted a microwave that wouldn't take up too much space. It fits into the corner of our counter well and frees up more room that our other microwave gobbled up. Lower power but smaller space to heat, so it works just as well. It is taller than most because the mechanical and heating parts are all underneath. But not enough to warrant taking away a star.
One quibble is that the dish does not sit as flush to the bottom of the heating area. I have hit mugs on the dish when placing them inside. Also the height of the heating area is small. Still can fit a tall mug or a casserole dish with lid.
I have been pleased so far.

I like the small size to fit in a Truck tractor. But I can not get the unit to heat. I verified with the sales lady that it would work with a Powerdrive PD3000 Watt modified sine wave inverter. It works on house current, It turns on turn table works, but it will not heat???

I bought this in lieu of the expensive units that are made specifically for semi trucks and it fits in the available space nicely and works great. It isn't high powered, so heating things up takes a little longer than larger units but it's perfect for a truck. The interior is shaped to accommodate up to a large dinner plate.

Just what I was looking for - the perfect size microwave with the rounded back to fit neatly nestled in the corner on my countertop. It saves so much space on my countertop. You can put a taller full-size coffee cup and medium size plate in here. The only thing I wish was different would be that I could key in the time I want, but the add 30 seconds option is working out fine. This model is a bit more expensive than others in this size, but for the innovation of the rounded back and space savings it was well worth it to me.

I'd been looking for a small microwave for a long time because we have a gallery kitchen that leaves us very little counter space. After. checking out a few businesses that carried this model and reading favorable reviews here, I decided to order this Whirlpool ountertop microwave oven in black. Not only does it fit Perfectly on our counter, leaving plenty of work space; it performs like a dream! More powerful then our last microwave, the glass plate locks on top of the center revolving guide so it eliminates sliding/readjusting, and the controls are on the bottom rather then the side of the microwave. So far, we are loving our purchase!

When our big, older countertop microwave broke we decided a smaller one would be fine since there's only two of us here now. I looked online and found this small corner unit. The reviews were mostly positive so I ordered one. It fits perfectly in the corner. It's very light so I put a rubber mat underneath to keep it in place when I open the door. It's easy to use, looks good and does the job well. So far we have no complaints.
